About Jonathan Skelton
Dr. Jon Skelton is the founder and physician of Live Life Well Clinic in Lubbock, Texas. Originally from Waco, Texas, he moved to Lubbock in 1993 and attended Texas Tech, where he was a walk-on with the Texas Tech football team. He graduated from Texas Tech in 1997 with a degree in Zoology and received his medical degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in 2002. He completed an emergency medicine residency at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas, serving as chief resident in his final year. He then worked in the Covenant Health System in Lubbock for 11 years, including as medical director of Covenant's adult and pediatric emergency departments, and subsequently served as chief medical officer and medical director for STAR ER, a freestanding emergency room in Lubbock, where he continues to practice emergency medicine.
