About Dr. John Salerno
Dr. John Salerno earned a BS in Biology, magna cum laude, from Adelphi University in 1982 and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYIT) in 1987, followed by a rotating internship and two-year family practice residency at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. He founded Salerno Wellness Center, offering functional medicine, custom IV therapy, and integrative weight-loss and diagnostic programs in New York City and Connecticut. He held a teaching appointment at Yale University School of Medicine from 1993 to 1997 and is a frequent media medical expert.
