About Jahanyar (John) Makipour
Jahanyar John Makipour, MD, is certified by the American Board of Surgery and offers surgical and non-surgical solutions across bariatric, cosmetic, and general surgery. He earned his bachelor and medical degrees from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, where he also completed his internship and residency. He completed a bariatrics fellowship at Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates in 2016 and a mini fellowship in bariatrics at the Cleveland Clinic. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the International College of Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons.
