About Joanne Aponte
Dr. Joanne Aponte is a naturopathic doctor at Lakeside Natural Medicine in Shorewood, Wisconsin, with over fifteen years in practice. She graduated with honours from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, now Sonoran University, and is licensed as a naturopathic doctor in Wisconsin. She completed specialised training in digestive disorders under gastroenterology specialist Megan Taylor, ND and continues in that mentorship group. Her clinical focus covers women's hormones, digestive disorders, preconception and postpartum care, and children's health, using functional medicine testing alongside herbal medicine, nutrition and mind-body approaches. She is a member of the Wisconsin Naturopathic Doctors Association, the National Association of Environmental Medicine and the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
