About Jessie LaPlante
Jessie LaPlante, FNP-C is the owner and founder of Functional Medicine of North Idaho in Hayden, Idaho, and practices as a family nurse practitioner and functional medicine practitioner. She completed her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing through Washington State University and has been certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since 2012. Her functional medicine training began with a certification through Functional Medicine University in 2017, followed by a diplomate certification through the American Board of Anti-Aging Practitioners in 2019, a fellowship through the Medical Metabolic Institute in 2020 and a functional fertility certification in 2023. She has trained under Dr. Neil Nathan, Dr. Jill Crista and Dr. Steve Harris of Gordon Medical, and accepts select Lyme, mold and fertility cases. Her clinical focus is optimizing hormones and thyroid function, reducing toxic burden, gut health and metabolic regulation.
