About Jennifer Reid

Jennifer Reid is an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner at Sandhills Functional Medicine in Carthage, North Carolina. A native of Moore County who resides in Vass, North Carolina, she was an NCAA Division I golfer at Appalachian State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and later her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She went on to earn a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She began her advanced practice in pulmonary and sleep medicine, working in both outpatient and inpatient care before joining Sandhills Functional Medicine. Her focus areas are hormone optimization, sleep and insomnia care including obstructive sleep apnea, metabolic balance, weight management, sports recovery, sexual health, thyroid optimization, and chronic disease management and prevention.
