About Jennifer McCord
Dr. Jennifer McCord is a functional medicine physician in Newport News, Virginia, and the sole owner of her practice. Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she graduated with a BA in English from Williams College and worked at the American Psychological Association before completing pre-med studies at Bryn Mawr and earning her MD from Brown University Medical School in 2001. She moved to Newport News for her residency at Riverside and was a family physician at Hampton Family Practice from 2004 to 2019, starting her own functional medicine practice in 2018. She is an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner and has trained with Dr. Dale Bredesen to use his ReCODE and PreCODE cognitive decline programs.
