About Jennifer Chung

Jennifer Chung, MD is the sole physician of Jennifer Chung, MD Functional + Lifestyle Medicine, a telehealth practice based in Richmond, Virginia serving patients in Virginia and Florida. She is board certified in internal medicine, certified in functional medicine by the Institute for Functional Medicine, and a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She completed her undergraduate and medical education at the University of Virginia, her internal medicine residency at Duke University Hospital, and a year of geriatric fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis. She has more than a decade of clinical experience and previously practised as a primary care physician before moving to a functional and lifestyle medicine model. Her approach is food- and lifestyle-first, with judicious use of supplements and medications including hormone replacement therapy.
