About Jay S. Campbell
Dr. Jay S. Campbell earned his osteopathic medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, and is the physician at Base Camp Functional Medicine in Salem, Oregon. He is board certified in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine and holds an active medical license in Oregon. He is pursuing a functional medicine fellowship through the Institute for Functional Medicine and belongs to the Institute for Functional Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Oregon Academy of Family Physicians and the Oregon Medical Association. He has focused on developing his skills in osteopathic manual medicine, using palpation, observation and detailed patient histories. He is a United States Army veteran who received the Army Health Professions Scholarship and served as a Brigade Surgeon during Operation Enduring Freedom, and has lived in the Willamette Valley for nearly 20 years.
