About James Kirszrot

James Kirszrot, MD is an ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon with New York Ophthalmology. He completed his undergraduate degree at Cornell University and earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by an ophthalmology residency at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and a two-year fellowship in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Harvard Medical School, where he remained as a clinical instructor before returning to New York City. He treats eyelid malpositions, ptosis, tearing, ectropion and entropion, and periocular skin cancers. He also specializes in cosmetic eyelid surgery, with extensive experience in blepharoplasty, midface lifts and lower lid bag removal, and uses Botox and fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm to treat facial wrinkles. He serves as Director of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Metropolitan Hospital Center and as an associate adjunct surgeon at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
