About James Izer

Dr. James D. Izer is an ophthalmologist at the Institute for Total Eye Care in Montgomery, Alabama, which he joined in 2002. He completed his undergraduate degree summa cum laude at the University of Houston, earned his MD from Baylor College of Medicine, completed his internship at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, where he was named Intern of the Year, and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan W.K. Kellogg Eye Center, where he served as chief resident. He administers the practice's cosmetic Botox and Xeomin injections at the Montgomery office.
