About James Edward Katz
James Edward Katz, MD, MPH practices age-management and preventive medicine at Age Management Boston, where he is the primary treating physician. He began his career as Chief of Emergency Medicine at Quincy Hospital and later at St. Joseph Hospital in Lowell, Massachusetts, and served on the board of North East Emergency Medical Services during the development of the state pre-hospital medical services and 911 response system. He was a clinical and research fellow in the Department of Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital and a research associate on a Kellogg Foundation study at the Harvard School of Public Health, and from 2001 practiced occupational medicine as a regional medical director for Occupational Health and Rehabilitation. He earned a BA in English from Yale University and his MD from the University of Connecticut Medical School, trained in internal medicine at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, and holds a Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.
