Dr. James Banich, MD is a general plastic surgeon at Vanguard Skin Specialists in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He earned his MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and spent 10 years as the sole plastic surgeon at a Mayo Clinic-affiliated practice in the Chippewa Valley before joining Vanguard in 2017. He performs reconstructive and cosmetic procedures including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, and abdominoplasty, and performs skin cancer reconstruction three days a week.
