About Ian F. Lytle
A Michigan native, Dr. Ian F. Lytle grew up in Rochester, Michigan and attended Alma College, graduating with a Bachelor of Art with a double major in Fine Arts and Biology. He completed his Masters in Science at Wayne State University and then attended Wayne State Medical School in Detroit, followed by General Surgery training at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, Section of Plastic Surgery, and continued as a Plastic Surgery Fellow at the University of Michigan. After six years in a group practice in Ann Arbor, he founded Lytle Plastic Surgery in 2015 to serve Plymouth, Northville, and the Downriver communities. He credits his training in sculpture and painting as an influence on his surgical technique.
