About Helen Merritt
Dr. Helen Merritt is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic surgery and a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She returned to her hometown of Dallas after practicing at a large private oculofacial surgery practice in Los Angeles, joining Oculoplastic Associates of Texas in 2019. She treats eyelid, eye socket, and tearing disorders and has written many peer-reviewed publications on topics ranging from orbital trauma to periocular cancers. She is a native Texan and fluent in Spanish. She was named a Texas Monthly SuperDoctor Rising Star from 2020 to 2022.
