About Harleen Dhaliwal
Dr. Harleen Dhaliwal founded RootCare MD in Toms River, New Jersey. She is a board-certified internal medicine physician and a Fellow of Integrative Health and Medicine whose career has spanned inpatient hospital settings and outpatient clinics, and who has taught internal medicine residents. She writes that she repeatedly saw chronic-disease patients return with worsening health and longer medication lists but no lasting relief, and concluded that the healthcare system as it stands is not built to allow for true healing. She pursued a fellowship in Integrative Health and Medicine in response and opened RootCare MD to perform root cause analysis of disease, with the stated goal of helping patients improve their lives by addressing the source of what is holding them back from wellness.
