About F. George Hougeir
Dr. Hougeir is a board-certified Dermatologist and board-certified Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery. He received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Arizona State University and a Doctorate of Medicine from Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota, then completed his Dermatology training at Mayo Clinic Arizona where he was Chief Resident. He has authored several publications and received honors including the American Cancer Society Margaret Mitchell Cancer Research award and the International Society of Dermatology Young Dermatologist award. His interests include medical and cosmetic dermatology as well as the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, and he is fluent in Spanish and French.
