About Erich Goetzel
Erich Goetzel, MD, LAc is a physician at Hummingbird Holistic Healthcare in Waltham, Massachusetts. Born and raised in Vienna, Austria, he practiced as a licensed family physician there before completing a second residency in psychiatry in New York City, a fellowship in consultation liaison psychiatry and training in interpersonal psychoanalysis. He is an independently licensed acupuncturist and a graduate of the Institute for Functional Medicine's inaugural class, and has served as medical director of Eliot Human Services since 2010. He treats depression, anxiety, cognitive decline and dementia, ADHD, OCD and SIBO/IBS in patients aged 18 and over, and uses the ReCODE program.
