About Eric Potter
Eric Potter, MD is the founder and physician of Sanctuary Functional Medicine in Franklin, Tennessee. He graduated from Vanderbilt Medical School and trained in both internal medicine and pediatric care, and the practice states he is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. He holds Institute for Functional Medicine certification, with IFM advanced practice modules in cardiometabolic, detoxification, gastrointestinal, hormone, energy and immune health, plus advanced clinical training in pediatrics. His additional training includes the Shoemaker Surviving Mold and ISEAI conferences for mold toxicity and extensive methylation and nutrigenomics coursework through the Seeking Health Institute. He left the insurance-based model in order to offer longer visits and wholesale pricing on laboratory tests and supplements.
