About Eliot Y. Ghatan
Eliot Y. Ghatan, MD, FRCPC is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatological surgeon serving patients in Midwood, Brooklyn, with over 25 years of experience in dermatology, laser services, cosmetic surgery, and skin cancer surgery. He graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and completed a dermatology residency with training in plastic surgery at McGill University in Canada, plus special surgical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center Moses Division. He has served as dermatological surgeon for the Brooklyn Veterans Administration Hospital, attending dermatologist at the Brooklyn Hospital, and clinical assistant professor of dermatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is a consulting dermatologist at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and Maimonides Medical Center. He is active in clinical research and lecturing and authored The Invaluable Pearl and Dermatological Differential Diagnosis & Pearls.
