About Edwin Ishoo
Dr. Edwin Ishoo leads Boston Gynecomastia Specialists in Cambridge, Massachusetts, described on the site as a highly skilled, board-certified surgeon with over 30 years experience in male breast reduction. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and holds membership in the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, fellow membership of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He has specialized in the surgical treatment of gynecomastia for over 15 years and has performed hundreds of body contouring procedures. He developed the PEXsculpt technique for treatment of puffy nipples and the ChestSculpt procedure to reduce glandular tissue under the nipple, and uses VASER UAL, power-assisted liposuction, and the microdebrider in chest contouring. He has served as faculty at several major universities and has authored and contributed to numerous scientific articles and book chapters.
