About Douglas Thomas

Douglas Thomas, MD, FAAD is the founder and Medical Director of Thomas Dermatology, an eight-office dermatology group across southern Nevada and western Arizona. He grew up in Las Vegas and graduated from Bishop Gorman High School, earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of San Diego, and received his medical degree with honors from the University of Southern California, where he served as chief resident in dermatology. Before founding Thomas Dermatology he spent nearly two decades as a principal physician and medical director at Las Vegas Skin and Cancer Clinics. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Dermatology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas. He no longer sees patients and now focuses on mentoring the practice's clinicians.
