About Douglas Hilbert
Dr. Douglas Hilbert is a board-certified internal medicine physician and Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) who leads a concierge primary care practice in San Antonio, Texas. He founded the Academic Hospitalist program at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), the first of its kind in the Department of Defense, and served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, where he received the Outstanding Teacher Award for Medical Students. He earned his MD from Saba University School of Medicine, completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and finished his residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center.
