About Dr. Dimitrina Vizinas
Dr. Dimitrina Vizinas is a Medical Director at Integral Med in Elmhurst, Illinois, practicing integrative and functional medicine. She earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University's Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, then completed her Family Medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. She completed an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona and a Functional Medicine Fellowship through the Institute for Functional Medicine, with additional training via the Kalish Functional Medicine Program, homeopathy through CEDH, medical acupuncture through the HELMS Institute, and thermography through the American Academy of Thermology. She has practiced for close to a decade, transitioning from traditional family medicine to integrative and functional medicine.
