About Derek Cody

Derek Cody, M.D., FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Crystal Clinic Plastic Surgeons in northeast Ohio, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 2011 and a delegate of that board. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, completed a general surgery residency at Akron General Medical Center and a plastic surgery residency at Summa Health System, and finished a breast and microvascular surgery fellowship at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Hospital in 2010. He practised in southern California for close to a decade before joining Crystal Clinic, and sees patients at the Fairlawn and Independence offices. His areas of interest are aesthetic surgery of the face and body, microsurgical breast reconstruction, facial reanimation, complex reconstructive microsurgery and hand surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and teaches medical students and residents.
