About David S. Sax
Dr. David S. Sax is a board-certified dermatologist who founded University Park Dermatology in Sarasota, Florida in 2001, serving patients in Sarasota, Bradenton and outlying areas. He trained in dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer, completing a dermatology residency at the University of Michigan, an internship at Penn State University Medical Center and a Mohs fellowship in Columbus, Ohio after earning his MD at Thomas Jefferson University. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Mohs Surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. In addition to medical dermatology, he and his team provide a wide range of cosmetic skin care services.
