About David Larson
David Larson, MD, known to patients as Dr. Dave, is the sole physician and owner of SourceMD: Integrated Wellness Solutions, a concierge integrative medicine practice in Encinitas, California. A native San Diegan, he graduated from Brown University, spent a Fulbright Fellowship year in Spain and did public-health work in rural India before medicine, then attended the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, graduating with highest distinction and earning the Alpha Omega Alpha merit scholarship. He completed residency in family medicine and psychiatry at the University of California San Diego and a fellowship in integrative and holistic medicine through the University of Arizona. He is double board-certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His focus areas are functional medicine, integrative psychiatry and psychotherapy, stress management, cognitive behavioural therapy, and neurolinguistic programming; he is fluent in Spanish.
