About David Dunaief
Dr. David Dunaief, MD is an internist specializing in integrative and lifestyle medicine, based in East Setauket and Brooklyn Heights, NY. He graduated from Stony Brook University Medical School, completed an internal medicine residency at Mercy Medical Center/University of Maryland, and a three-year fellowship with Joel Fuhrman, MD. He was first author on a 2012 study on high-nutrient-density diet impacts on type 2 diabetes published in the Open Journal of Preventive Medicine, and co-authored a chapter in The Handbook of Nutrition, Diet and the Eye (2014).
