About Dathan Hamann

Dathan Hamann, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and Medical Director of Saguaro Dermatology and the Contact Dermatitis Institute in Greater Phoenix. He serves as Associate Program Director and core faculty at the HonorHealth Dermatology Residency in Phoenix and as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. His clinical focus is complex medical dermatology and contact dermatitis, and he has co-authored textbook chapters on rubber and metal allergy along with more than fifty peer-reviewed publications. He earned his medical degree at the University of Arizona and completed dermatology residency at The Ohio State University, where he served as Chief Resident of Research. He sits on the board of the Phoenix Dermatology Society and the education committee of the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
