About Danielle Bechert

Danielle Bechert, MD practices functional medicine at Arizona Wellness Medicine in Paradise Valley, Arizona. She is board certified in family medicine and is an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Indiana University in Bloomington and graduated with honors from the Indiana University School of Medicine, where she developed an interest in prevention and lifestyle-based healing that led her to family medicine residency training. After providing primary care in a large family medicine group, she pursued education in complementary and alternative medicine and became a certified yoga teacher through Prairie Yoga School in Chicago, which led her toward mind-body medicine and ultimately functional medicine. She relocated to Scottsdale in 2015 and completed the Institute for Functional Medicine certification pathway.
