About Daniel Y. Choi

Dr. Daniel Y. Choi is a fellowship-trained cataract and glaucoma specialist at Central Valley Eye Medical Group. He graduated magna cum laude in physiology from UCLA and earned his medical degree there, completed an internship at Cedars-Sinai and an ophthalmology residency at Stanford University where he was chief resident, and finished a glaucoma fellowship at UCLA's Stein Eye Institute. He is an adjunct clinical associate professor of ophthalmology at Stanford and specialises in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. He founded the non-profits Project Nicaragua and Project RISHI, and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.
