About Craig J. Romero Helm
Dr. Craig J. Romero Helm is the medical director of Helm Vision Group. He completed residency training in ophthalmology at the UCLA/Jules Stein Eye Institute and continued fellowship training at UCLA in cornea and refractive surgery and uveitis, during which he was selected as a Heed Fellow. After fellowship he served in the United States Air Force at the Portsmouth Naval Medical Center for three years and was a faculty member at the Eastern Virginia Medical School Department of Ophthalmology. He established a private practice in Norfolk and Virginia Beach in 1996 and moved to Santa Clarita in 2001 to establish Helm Vision Group. His practice focus remains cataract surgery, corneal transplantation and laser vision correction.
