About Christy Lorton
Dr. Christy Lorton is a dermatologist who founded Dermatology Associates, Inc. in Perrysburg, Ohio in 1991 and serves as its president; she is also medical director of Elite Body and Laser in Polaris, Ohio. A native of Fairborn, Ohio, she earned a BS in chemistry summa cum laude from Wright State University in 1979 and graduated with honours in surgery and medicine from The Ohio State College of Medicine under the Health Professions Scholarship Program. She completed an internship at Wright Patterson AFB Medical Center and served three years in the U.S. Air Force as a general medical officer at Zweibrucken AFB in West Germany, then completed her dermatology residency at the University of Cincinnati from 1986 to 1989 as chief resident. She practises medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
