Christine O. Briones is a physician associate and the founder of Zenith Functional Health in Phoenix, Arizona. She practiced conventional medicine for almost twenty years in New York City and Arizona before a diagnosis of early-stage breast cancer led her to reevaluate her approach to health and move toward integrative and functional medicine. She now works to integrate conventional and alternative practices, focusing on the root causes of health issues and on preventative measures rather than symptom management. Her practice centers on customized detoxification plans, individualized fitness programming, immune support and one-on-one lifestyle coaching, and she describes empowering patients with the tools for self-care as her mission. She is a certified functional and nutritional medicine practitioner and a provider member of the Institute for Functional Medicine.
