About Christina Turner
Christina Turner, DNP is an ANCC board-certified prescribing family provider and the founder of Root Cause Functional Family Medicine in Brandon, Florida, treating patients aged four and up. She began her career as a registered nurse in 2007 in neurology, cardiology, surgical intensive care, emergency medicine and rheumatology IV therapy, then completed post-master's family nurse practitioner training and a doctorate in 2016. She started practicing functional and regenerative medicine in Colorado, where she specialized in hormone replacement therapy, musculoskeletal injuries and regenerative injection therapies. She started her own practice in 2021, working remotely before expanding to her primary location in Brandon.
