About Christie Matter
Dr. Christie Matter is board certified in dermatology and has been in private practice in Plano since 1999, co-founding Lockhart Matter Dermatology in 2004 with Dr. Susanne Lockhart. She sees new and established patients of all ages with skin, hair and nail conditions and enjoys all aspects of general, surgical, pediatric and geriatric dermatology. She received her B.S. with honors in biology at the University of North Texas in 1991 and her Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1995. She completed an internal medicine internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and received dermatology training at Duke University Medical Center and UT Southwestern Medical Center, serving as chief dermatology resident at Parkland Hospital.
