About Catherine M. DiGiorgio
Dr. Catherine M. DiGiorgio founded CMD Dermatology, Laser and Aesthetics, a physician-owned boutique cosmetic and medical dermatology practice serving Boston, Massachusetts and the surrounding areas. Born and raised in New Orleans, she earned a Master of Science in Human Genetics and a Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine, and completed her internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at LSU in New Orleans. She then completed a two-year laser and cosmetic dermatology fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital and the Wellman Center for Photomedicine. She was trained and certified in the tumescent liposuction technique by Dr. Jeffrey Klein, the inventor of the procedure, and has authored many peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. The practice states that all consultations and treatments are performed exclusively by Dr. DiGiorgio.
