About Carsten R. Hamann

Carsten R. Hamann, MD, PhD is a board-certified dermatologist at Saguaro Dermatology in Greater Phoenix and at the Contact Dermatitis Institute, and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University and a PhD in public health and epidemiology at the University of Copenhagen, where his research addressed risk factors and comorbidities of eczema. He completed dermatology residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident and Assistant Chief Resident of Research. He has co-authored three textbook chapters and more than fifty peer-reviewed publications.
