About Carrie Bordinko
Carrie Bordinko, MD is the founder and CEO of Benessair Health in Paradise Valley, Arizona, and a board-certified internal medicine physician. Her career spans work as an emergency physician and ICU physician, as a medical director for an insurance organization and as a director of hospice care, experience she credits with shaping the evidence-based model behind Benessair Health. She earned her medical degree summa cum laude and as valedictorian from Saba University School of Medicine after a Bachelor of Science in Nursing summa cum laude from Arizona State University, and completed her internal medicine residency at Saint Joseph Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, where she was named Resident of the Year and served as the hospital's first third-year chief resident. She also holds an International Board of Undersea Medicine technician certification. She maintains her own regimen of fitness, nutrition and moderation, and spends her limited free time on philanthropic work, cooking, scuba diving and fitness challenges.
