About Carolyn Finnegan
Carolyn Finnegan, DC is the founder of Core Wellness Functional Medicine in Oakland, California, and has treated patients since 2004. She earned a Doctor of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in 2005, cum laude with the Honors Clinician Award, and a Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State University in 1998. She has been an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner since 2017 and is a one-year mentorship graduate of the Kalish Institute for Functional Medicine, with additional training in women's functional and integrative medicine and a Diplomate in Chiropractic Biophysics. She founded the practice after moving from conventional chiropractic care into functional medicine, and focuses on root-cause evaluation of gut, hormonal, thyroid and autoimmune conditions.
