About Carlton Yuen

Dr. Carlton Yuen grew up in Hawaii and graduated from Punahou with Honors before receiving his undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors from UCLA. He earned his medical degree at the University of California Davis School of Medicine, where he received the Outstanding and Dedicated Community Service Award and a Childrens Miracle Network Research grant. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern and additional oculoplastic surgery training in Dallas, Texas. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has performed thousands of cataract and laser procedures. He serves as Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Kuakini Medical Center.
