About Carlene Ashley
Dr. Carlene Ashley co-founded Med Boutique with her daughter Janelle Ashley, PA-C, and the practice describes its medical-grade beauty services as led by her. She attended the University of South Florida and then Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine before becoming a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She was the first female plastic surgeon in Newport Beach to own a private practice and later opened a second private practice in Tampa, Florida. The practice states she has over 35 years of experience spanning traditional plastic surgery, medical aesthetics and dermatology. She was voted a Charlotte Top Doctor in 2019 by her peers.
