About Caren Gutterman

Caren Gutterman, RN, BSN is the founder and owner of Velvet Veil Med Spa in Flagstaff, Arizona. She spent a decade in clinical nursing before founding the spa to break away from what she describes as the rushed, corporate approach to medical aesthetics. She practises as the spa's solo practitioner, delivering its SkinWave hydrafacial, microneedling, Botox, T-Shape 2 body contouring, peptide therapy and chemical peel treatments. She writes the practice's patient education material on skincare in Flagstaff's dry, high-altitude climate.
