About Candace Willett
Candace "Candy" Willett, MSN, MPH, RN, PPCNP-BC is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner at Capital Integrative Health in Potomac, Maryland, focused on pediatric functional medicine and tick-borne illness. She has roughly eight years of specialty training in infectious disease, treating Lyme borreliosis and tick-borne illness in children and young adults up to age twenty-five, and completed two years of specialty training in dermatology in Pinehurst, North Carolina. She studied psychology and religion at Mount Holyoke College, earned a Master of Public Health in maternal and child health at George Washington University, and a Master of Science in Nursing at Yale School of Nursing. Her specialty interests include complex histamine issues, mast cell activation syndrome, dermatologic manifestations and long COVID.
