About Bonnie Sims
Bonnie Sims, ND, MDiv is a naturopathic doctor and pastoral counselor at Millar Functional Medicine in Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated from Trinity College of Natural Health with a Doctor of Naturopathy degree and holds a Master of Divinity from Emory University, and did her undergraduate studies at Athens State University where she remains adjunct faculty. She was previously chief pastoral counselor at Decatur General Hospital. She is a certified master practitioner of the Emotional Freedom Technique and holds a certificate in thanatology from the University of Alabama, and specializes in addiction counseling including sugar addiction, grief counseling and family systems theory.
