About Ben Edwards
Dr. Ben Edwards is the founder and medical director of Veritas Medical in Lubbock, Texas, which he established in 2012. Born and raised in Belton, Texas, with both grandfathers general practitioners, he earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and graduated from UT-Houston Medical School. He completed the Waco Family Practice Residency Program, serving as chief resident, then practiced at the Garza County Health Clinic in Post, Texas as the only physician in the county for seven years. His transition into integrative and functional practice followed a colleague's recovery from celiac disease, after which he spent months reading, researching and attending conferences with integrative physicians in the United States and abroad.
