About Barbara Holmes
Barbara Holmes is a family nurse practitioner at Heartland Functional Medicine in Papillion, Nebraska. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Clarkson College in August 2012. Her clinical background spans allergy and immunology, medical-surgical pediatrics, family medicine, cardiac nursing, long-term care, and behavioral health. She worked with Dr. William Ingram in otolaryngic allergy at UNMC Physicians from 2003 to 2010 and returned to help open his private clinic in January 2011. She began seeing patients in January 2013, focusing on otolaryngic allergy, migraines, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.
