About Ashwin Agarwal
Dr. Ashwin Agarwal grew up in Plano and attended St. Mark School of Texas in Dallas. He graduated cum laude from Duke University with dual degrees in Neuroscience and Biology and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, then earned his M.D. at Duke University School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego and his dermatology residency at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received the American Academy of Dermatology Excellence in Patient Care Award. He has authored papers in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, and the Journal of Investigative Dermatology. He specializes in both pediatric and adult dermatology, with particular interest in moles and skin cancer, medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.
