About Ashley Nelson
Dr. Ashley Nelson is a licensed chiropractor with advanced training in functional medicine, vector-borne illness, women's health, prenatal care, and pediatric chiropractic at The Healthy Place Holistic Clinic in Madison, WI. She combines hands-on chiropractic skills with modern testing, including nutrigenomics, gut health analysis, and targeted bloodwork. She specializes in complex cases, particularly Lyme and vector-borne illnesses, and is ILADS-certified, mentored by Dr. Tom Moorcroft. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic (2011) and completed Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice training through the Institute of Functional Medicine (2025).
