About Ariel Ostad

Ariel Ostad, MD, FACS, is a dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon practicing on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the NYU Department of Dermatology. He received his BA and MD, both magna cum laude, from New York University, completed an internal medicine internship at Harvard Medical School, and trained in dermatology and dermatologic surgery residency at NYU. He completed fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery and laser and cosmetic surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery. He has co-authored the textbooks "Practical Management of Skin Cancer" and "Management of Skin Cancer" and serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology.
